Terms and Conditions:
  • Bearcat Shop at Lander University DOES NOT ship outside the domestic United States.
  • We strive to offer our customers the best products at the best possible prices.
  • Your satisfaction is our number one concern. If you have any questions regarding our products, please ContactUs or call (864) 388-8384 before placing an order.
  • Cancellations MUST occur within a 24-hour period following order placement.
  • Our representative must authorize any return and under no circumstances will returns be accepted otherwise. Authorization and shipping instructions must be obtained from us. No returns will be authorized after five (5) business days of receipt of product(s) by the customer.
  • All products MUST be returned in the original packaging. We will replace or refund your account for returned product(s).
  • Non damaged returns are subject to deductions for shipping costs and a 25% restocking charge and must be returned within a five (5) day period from date of receipt of product(s).
  • NO refunds will be given for products returned without explicit permission from us.
  • Shipping and Handling Charges are NON-REFUNDABLE.
Refund Policy:

Guidelines
  1. A cash register receipt is required for all refunds and/or exchanges
  2. Books/Merchandise must be returned within time limits stated on the receipt.
  3. New books and merchandise must be returned in mint condition (with all components included at the time of purchase) and in their original unopened packaging. New textbooks which have been marked or damaged will be refunded at the used book price if they are resalable as used. Workbooks, study guides and lab manuals are non-refundable if written in. A $3.00 repackaging fee may apply for unwrapped books/packages if they are accepted for a refund/exchange.
  4. All returns and exchanges must be taken directly to the sales counters at the front of the store. Please do not bring returns or exchanges onto the sales floor area of the bookstore at any time.
  5. The Bearcat Shop management at Lander University reserves the right to make the decision on the condition or salability of the merchandise.

Non-refundable Merchandise

The following items are not returnable: novels, course readers, electronics, computer disks, computer software, food, health & beauty aids, packages/kits, dissection kits, art/photography supplies, any items labeled "Not Returnable" and clearance items.

Online Purchases

The date the order was delivered to the customers address will be considered the purchase date for return purposes. The shipping fee is not refundable. Returns of merchandise purchased online must be shipped on or before the return deadline as stated on the receipt. The return shipping fee is the responsibility of the customer. Lander University Bookstore is not responsible for returned merchandise lost or damaged in transit.

Refund Method

Refunds will be issued depending on how the purchase was made:

Purchases made using cash will be refunded as cash.
Purchases made using a credit or debit card will be refunded back to the account used.
Purchases made using a student account will be refunded back to the student account.
